Countdown to #CSEdWeek

Longwood University’s ITTIP has working in partnership with Cumberland County Public School’s grant, Computer Science for Region 8 (CS4R8). Last year the grant served 46 teacher participants across grades K-8, through online courses. During the online courses, not only did teachers became more knowledgable about the Virginia Computer Science SOL, but also how to integrate them into the core subject areas. As part of this learning, teachers created integrated lesson plans.

What does this have to do with a ‘Countdown to #CSEdWeek’?

In celebration of the upcoming Computer Science Eduction Week, Dec 6 – Dec 12, 2021, we are going to host a #CSEdWeek countdown. This countdown will begin October 6, 2021, and will take place on ITTIP’s Twitter page. During the countdown we will share a number of lesson plans created by integrated computer science and core content subject areas.
