We are excited to share the curriculum and resources from our recently conducted STEM summer camps. Designed to engage 4th-7th grade students in hands-on, interactive learning, these materials offer a deep dive into the world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The curriculum, now available for use, includes detailed lesson plans, project guides, and facilitator instructions that can be easily adapted for classroom use or future camps.
The 4th/5th Grade Summer Camp curriculum is designed to immerse students in a week-long exploration of STEM through hands-on activities and projects. With a strong focus on robotics and coding, students engage with LEGO Spike kits, allowing them to delve into concepts such as engineering, technology, and sustainability. Each day is structured around specific themes that guide students through interactive challenges, fostering their understanding and enthusiasm for STEM.
For 6th/7th graders, the summer camp curriculum offers an in-depth experience in STEM education, with a particular emphasis on robotics. Utilizing Hummingbird Robotics Kits, students are guided through a series of challenges that encourage them to build and program robots while also exploring broader topics like automation, cybersecurity, and the societal impacts of technology. The camp is designed to enhance teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills, culminating in a showcase where students can present their innovative robotic projects.
